Willard Hamner Adirondack Guideboats

My parents at "Uncle Bill's" shop while on their honeymoon.  They stayed in a little houseboat owned by my Mother's
Aunt Pauline and Uncle Bill.  Waldo Bennett, my maternal grandfather was Pauline (Bennett) Hamner's brother.
Unfortunately, that guideboat did not belong to my parents.  This picture was taken in early July of 1956, shortly
before Uncle Bill's death.

I was able to travel up to the cabin (built by Uncle Bill) that my great aunt Pauline still lived in several times during the
1970's.  Once she took me on a tour through her late husband's shop and sawmill.
