Order of the Arrow Trail Crew - Philmont Scout Ranch - Cimarron, NM
Daniel and Dusty participated in OA Trail Crew for the first session of 2009, June 8th thru June 22nd, which would be OATC-0608.
Basically the treks go like this, you work for one week and you trek for one week. OA Treks cost much less then doing the same trek booked through a local council or troop, but you do one week of service.
All prices are per person:
Trek Cost: $125 (Wilderness Trek), $200 (Philmont Trail Crew) or $500 (Ocean Adventure)
Shuttle Cost: $140 (Philmont Trail Crew)
Travel Expenses: $303 tickets + $28 insurance (Out of Albany International Airport, NY)
The cost for all of the above for a 2009 Trail Crew flying out of Albany, NY was approx. $700 for 2 weeks of fun.
